When Shoji Tabuchi was born in April 1944 in a small Japanese town, little did his family know that he would grow up to become a world-renowned violinist. At the young age of just seven years old, Shoji had developed a passion for American country music. Seeing that he was committed to making it big in America one day, Shoji's mother encouraged his dream by teaching him how to play the violin. He even met Roy Acuff, a member of the Grand Ole Opry, after one of Acuff's shows in Japan. Acuff made a comment that Tabuchi should look him up if he ever made it to Nashville. When he was old enough, Shoji traveled to America with just his violin and $600.

Shoji looked for success in San Francisco, Kansas City, and other cities in the U.S. before arriving in Nashville. Once in Nashville, he met up with Acuff who arranged an appearance of the Grand Ole Opry's radio show. This show brought Tabuchi much attention. After touring the U.S. and around the world to much acclaim, Tabuchi built a grand 2,000-seat theater in Branson, where he now performs regularly. Over the years, he has received numerous albums on private labels. Since his beginning in Japan in 1944, he has built a multi-million dollar entertainment brand.

Most days, Shoji Tabuchi performs two shows at his theater with his wife, Dorothy, and his daughter, Christina. The show features Shoji Tabuchi's renowned violin skills, as well as beautiful singing, choreographed dancing, and more. All members of his cast hold at least one degree in music, and each brings something unique to the table. The show blends all of these talents into one amazing show. During the show, you can enjoy a range of musical genres, from 50s and 60s tunes to gospel, classical, and more. Shoji Tabuchi's show is of the highest caliber, giving you Broadway-style entertainment in the heart of Branson.

Shoji Tabuchi's world-class show and award-winning show is a 'must' for a trip to Branson. Many of Shoji Tabuchi's shows sell out, so be sure to purchase your tickets in advance.

Shoji Tabuchi Show
Just got back from Branson and saw Shoji's show for the third time. It is always wonderful. He is absolutely fantastic. Christina was there and she is truly a super singer and dancer. This show is always in great taste, wonderful talent, and beautifully done. The other performers are also sensational - learning to play the Japanese drums and doing the drum line of a marching band. Shoji's life story is one of determination and success. This is absolutely the greatest. In fact, I can't wait to see it again.
