BRANSON, MO - If you love the nightlife, there are plenty of live music venues, bars, grills and other evening fun awaiting Branson visitors. Aside from the main stage theaters around town, there are several lesser-known venues that offer smaller crowds, dinner, drinks and a more intimate setting.

Rocky's Lounge in Branson, Missouri

Rocky's Lounge in Downtown Branson is a favorite venue for visitors and young locals. The lounge is part of Rocky's Italian Restaurant, both of which are housed in an unassuming building that used to house a feed store. Inside the restaurant and lounge, though, is incredible food, great drinks and sensational live music. On select evenings, the piano player Jimmy Nicholas delights crowds with his incredible talent and excellent recall of songs, so guests often make special requests. Local show celebrities also frequent Rocky's Lounge to unwind after the shows with a drink or two, so it can be an excellent opportunity to get a little more personal with some Branson locals.

Outback in Branson, Missouri

Located on The Strip, Outback Branson is a comprehensive dining and entertainment venue. The Outback Pub is tailor-suited to those looking to enjoy the night. An outdoor deck makes enjoying the temperate Branson nights even more relaxing, and live entertainment is featured every night in the lounge and on the outdoor deck from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. In addition to offering over 100 beers and other beverages, the Outback Pub also features appetizers, sandwiches and Australian wines. Visitors can enjoy the laid-back atmosphere with billiards and NTN trivia.

B.T. Bones in Branson, Missouri

If American grilling and cuisine is more your style, check out B.T. Bones. This bar & grill-style facility features live country music on select evenings as well as a dance floor and full bar. Eat, drink and be merry as you enjoy grilled favorites including steak, prime rib, chicken and more. B.T. Bones is located at 2280 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, keeping it close to all of the Branson excitement but out of the busy Highway 76 traffic!

Planet Branson in Branson, Missouri

Another top Branson nightlife favorite is Planet Branson, which features a full bar, full menu and more! Wednesday nights at Planet Branson means karaoke, and out come all of the future stars ' and maybe a few that are sticking to their day jobs! Ballroom dancing is featured on Tuesday night, while the rest of the week the huge dance floor stays hopping with great country music, as well as mix of tunes from other genres. Located at 440 State Highway 248, Planet Branson offers plenty of late-night thrills!

The best way to find out where the excitement is while you're in town is to talk to as many local folks as possible. You'll find that most are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and eager to share their tips about Branson's nightlife (and other aspects) with you! Until then, though, consider a few other nightlife spots.

Thanks for providing this! Other than the usual tourist things to do, we were hoping to enjoy the nightlife one evening and this helped lead us in the right direction!

Showboat Branson Belle
We throughly enjoyed the Branson Belle and would recommend it to everyone. We went to an afternoon show, the entertainment and food were superb. When we come back to Branson we will do it again. We especially loved Todd, Irving, Elvis and Lucy but all the entertainers and the MC were great! Thank you for providing such clean, family entertainment.

Showboat Branson Belle Lunch & Dinner Cruises
Really enjoyed the cruise. wish it would have been longer. Dinner was very tasty. Very talented singers, gave an excellent show... very entertaining. Not so crazy about the ventriloquist... Didn't like use of the Dogs, seemed a bit cruel to make them look like they were talking. Would have been more enjoyable for us if he would have used a dummy.

Entertainment was great -- wished we could have gone out for a cruise but weather prevented it. Seats were a little too close (front row)
