Ozark Mountain Christmas - Branson, Missouri

The city of Branson is illuminated during the months of November and December with a series of special holiday light displays. The Ozark Mountain Christmas celebrated in Branson is centered on the themes of family, fellowship, and wholesome, old-fashioned fun, and these incredible lights displays go far in projecting those ideals.

Festival of Lights - Branson, Missouri

The tremendous Festival of Lights is a Branson tradition that features more than five million lights along Branson Hills Parkway, located near Highway 65. Animated displays are always popular along the Festival of Lights, which traditionally runs from the first of November through New Year's Day. Visitors will enjoy a variety of traditional and contemporary holiday scenes, including an animated "Twelve Days of Christmas Display," Santa and his leaping reindeer, sailboats on the water, an inspiring nativity scene, and many more. Tickets can be purchased by the car or busload, and the lights display typically attracts more than 31,000 vehicles.

Christmas on the Trail - Branson, Missouri

The spectacular Christmas on the Trail at the Shepherd of the Hills homestead features the Trail of Lights, a Branson tradition for more than 15 years. In addition to the festive holiday activities offered as part of Christmas on the Trail, the Trail of Lights is a drive-through lights display that includes themed villages, animated scenes, and more. You'll pass through A Victorian Village, the North Pole Village, the Elves General Store, the Reason for the Season, the Land of Sugar & Spice, and many more! Be sure to roll down the windows on your vehicle, as the villagers of the Trail of Lights will no doubt have the jolly sounds of the holidays with which to serenade you!

Port of Lights - Kimberling City, Missouri

For a unique holiday lights display, you can head out to Table Rock Lake. Each year, the fantastic Port of Lights display is hosted at Kimberling City. This intriguing spectacle runs from early November through December, and features everything from an animated Hillbilly Fisherman (whose catch actually leaps back into the water), to traditional toy soldiers, nativity scenes and more. The display's two drive through tunnels — the 120-foot Snowflake Tunnel and the 240-foot Hollywreath Tunnel — are always popular with motorists. Other popular sights along the three-mile driving include an 85-foot long lighted and animated paddle boat!

Of course, the Highway 76 Branson Strip is aglow with lights and sounds all year-round, but even a drive along this eye-catching street during the holiday season will offer a little something more for visitors to the Missouri Ozarks. Kick your holiday celebration off "bright" with a visit to the incredible lights displays of an Ozarks Mountain Christmas in Branson!

My husband and I drove through this last year and it was amazing! We had such a great time in Branson in december that we are going back with our boys to share the Branson Christmas Spirit with them. I can't wait they are going to have a fabulous time. This drive was reasonably priced and a great time!

Unfortunately, as we were not early enough, we were seated in a room far awar from the performance area. I enjoyed the story and the live animals.
