Show was excellent however we missed the pre-show due to VME not informing us of preshow time. We arrived for 5:30 show as instructed and had missed all of preshow, getting pictures made, and wound up stuck on the end where we couldn't see everything. I would suggest that you make people aware of preshow and need for arrival 1 hr. prior to actual showtime for good seating and participation in preshow. The show and the food were very good.

Show was really good, but the food stinks. No utensils. If they want to serve finger food, then choose different foods. Rotisserie chicken with your fingers is a mess I won't deal with again, no matter how good the show.

I have in the past, when visiting my daughter in the Los Angeles area, attended the Medieval Times. There they have the Lords & Ladies etc, and they have Knights on their horses and they joust. And dinner is served with no utensils. BUT, now having been to the Dixie Stampede, I like it much better. It is indeed a wonderful family experience, and I would recommend it to anyone. A well done, non profane dialogue and a true American experience. Very Patriotic. LOVED IT !!!!!!

The show was great fun but trying to eat a whole chicken with our hands while watching the show was a bit much. I was also concerned about the amount of food wasted - Too much food served for such a short time to eat for adults and the many children in audience. Everything very rushed for the price paid. Meal and show would have been better appreciated as separate events. Had four shows the day we attended. Glad I did it but wouldn't do again.
