Our family has been to the Dixie Stampede 3 times over the past 6 years. We love the food, fun and action. We travel from Minnesota to Branson to get an early spring usually in April. Great time of year to be there. The first time is especially fun since you are so into what is going on continually in the show. The kids love the food without utensils. My eldist daughter was so impressed because as she said 'I get my own chicken!' (Cornish game hen) along with all the 'Welcome to my barbeque' fixin's. You won't leve hungry! Show up early to see the horses, read about them and get a good seat for the preshow, which changes, but is usually very good as well. All in all a well done show.
'Everybody now, STAM PEDE!' (your cue to stomp your feet) to the show.

We have been to the one in Branson 4 times and went to the one in Tennessee once. The first time we went..... SHOCK!!! We laughed so hard, and clapped and stomped our feet. We had a blast!!
The second time we took our daughter and her husband. They had just as much fun as we did the first time, and believe me we still loved it.
The 3 time we came alone again... just cant stay away.
The 4 time we brought our other daughter, her husband and 2 children. They couldnt believe they could have so much fun and still get the kids to eat.
The show in Tennessee is the same as the one in Branson. And the food is just as good.
We are coming back this year!! Our son is going back to Iraq and we feel this is the best show to bring him to before he goes!!!
We have 3 military guys in our group this year, and I cant think of a better way to honor all 3!!!

Went to see the Christmas show. It was truely amazing. If you weren't in the Christmas spirit before you went, you will be after ward. The nativity was beautiful. The North and South fued was so fun, the food was great and so much of it. Don't eat lunch that day. My four year old son, barely ate anything and honestly said about two words, he was so mezmerized by the horses, the ostrich and pig races. Definately expensive, but if you have to choose, pick this one.

The Dixie Stampede is our favorite Branson activity. The food isn't gormet but is wonderful for eating with your fingers. It is a fun time the show is wonderful and the atmosphere is great. We have been visiting Branson for 10 to 15 years and always go to the Dixie at least one time a year. 10 out of 10 would be a great rating.

We loved this show! This time we broght our own knives and forks. When we were here last year I couldn't get the chicken grease out from under my fingers for days so this worked far better. And I brought a wet towel and degreaser from the trailer. And I gave half of my chicken to the hubby. The soup wasn't as good this time. Hubby thought the whole thing was too loud, but I loved the hog races. I think we sat too close because we got some debris kicked up on us. Will come again next time with bibs and hot wash clothes. Good show, similar to Medival knights at Excalibur and other locations with a Civil War theme. Some parts kinda hoky but OK for mixed audiances. Meal served was good for this type of service. Buffalo were well trained and knew the routine.

The food was good as was the service. My 3 year old LOVED the show. This was our favorite activity during our vacation. The only downside was the preshow. You have to get there really early to get a seat. We didn't and ended up standing around for 30 minutes with two kids. Next time I'll just show up for the Stampede.

This show was excellent to take the grandchildren to. What an experience this was for them! I have told family and friends already that this show was absolutely the best to take kids to. We have twin grandaughters who are 7 years old and their sister who is 5 years old. We would do this again.

Good dinner and a fun evening. The air conditioning worked great so it was not hot or smelley from the animals. Wife and granddaughter both enjoyed the show. They took our pictures on the way in front of a blue screen and then using photo magic pasted us in front of a nice background. I think we paid $20 for one photo alblum.

I thought the preshow act which was the juggler was amazing. He deserves his own show. The Dixie Stampede was alot of fun. The only thing I would have changed was to add silverware to the meal. Other than that, I really enjoyed it. Oh and ask people to stand for the flag at the finale.

We had a wonderful time. The show was great. The talent is very good. We went to the christmas show and it was beautiful. The food is very good, the amount of food you get is unbelieveable. It is well worth the money we spent and we will be back in the summer.
