FULL DESCRIPTION
When I was a young (very young) girl I always marveled at the beautiful shirts Roy and Dale wore in their pictures. All that glitz and glitter. I wondered if it was real or not.
During my Roy Rogers reunion Sept 14 - 16, 2007 I saw for myself that the shirts really are absolutely beautiful. They are as bright and colorful today as they were back in the 40s when I saw Roy and Dale on their appearances in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
I marveled at how natural Trigger, Bullet, and Buttermilk looked. It was so natural you could imagine them trotting up to be petted.
Nelliebell was there in all its splender.
The Happy Trail Museum/Theater is staffed by the Rogers family. They are a friendly group of people. Dusty posed for a picture with me. That 's my pride and joy. I was lucky enough to have Brunch with Dusty, his three sisters, and two other fans.
