2009 Branson Christmas Shows
The Pierce Arrow Show
This group of performers brings you music from all quarters of country, including gospel music, covers of Statler Brothers and Oak Ridge Boys songs, and heartwarming patriotic tunes.
Every year, from November through the New Year, many of Branson, Missouri's more popular shows offer a unique twist with elements of the holiday season incorporated into their performances. From general variety shows including Pierce Arrow to productions focusing specifically on one aspect of the Christmas season, such as Miracle of Christmas, there are literally dozens of options waiting, each offering its own unique addition to this year's winter vacation!
- Miracle of Christmas (Oct. 31 — Dec. 30) — The story of the Nativity comes to life at Branson's Sight & Sound Theater. Guest will feel as though they are experincing the Nativity first-hand in this amazing sensory experience. Surrounded by the décor and smells of Christmas, guests will be amazed by the 30-foot Christmas tree and the splendor of the show. You and your family will also be given the opportunity to interact with characters and animals from the show!
- Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede (Nov. 1 — Jan. 2) — Dixie Stampede's typical competition between the North and the South takes on a larger, more festive scope come the holiday season as the North pole and South pole take to the story for a show complete with elves, a live nativity scene and all the entertainment and excitement that is expected from Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede!
- Andy Williams Christmas Show (Nov. 1 — Dec. 7) — Audiences will love this 100% Christmas classic! Andy Williams delivers all of the Christmas favorites in the smooth stylings that made "Moon River" famous. Fresh off an international book tour, Andy Williams hits the stage with a few guests to help make this show one to remember. Joining him are violinist, Dean Church and Pasha Aliona, a quick-change dance team.
- 50's at the Hop Jingle Bell Rock (Nov. 1 — Jan. 2) — Jingle Bell Rock offers the best of both worlds with the first half of the show highlighting hits from the regular performance and the second half covering a variety of classic Christmas tunes with a decidedly 50's twist.
- Shoji Tabuchi (Nov. 2 — Dec. 13) — Experience Branson's famed violinist as he takes on a number of timeless Christmas classics with all of the glitz and theatrics that his regular performance is noted for. Backed by dancers, singers and a vivid set design, large-scale Christmas entertainment awaits with Shoji Tabuchi.
- Dino's Christmas Extravaganza (Nov. 2 — Dec. 12) — Experience Dino's masterful piano skills as his wife Cheryl accompanies him on vocals as they cover a wide range of Christmas classics. Backed by dance numbers and an intricate set design, Dino offers classical Christmas entertainment in Branson.
- Yakov Smirnoff (Nov. 3 — Dec. 5) — Throughout the Yakov Smirnoff Christmas Show, you will experience highlights from his regular performance laced with holiday humors as festive decorations and set designs help complete your holiday vacation with big laughs.
- Keith "Red" Allen (Nov. 3 — Dec. 12) — Keith "Red" Allen offers his always hilarious slap-stick antics throughout the first half of this performance before turning to his impressive baritone voice to highlight the sounds of the Christmas season.
- Redhead Express (Nov. 3 — Dec. 8) — During the holidays, Redhead Express' Walker family splits their performance between two focal points: incredible bluegrass and the Christmas season! The first half of the performance will highlight the sounds the Walker family was raised on before covering some of the season's timeless classics.
- Buck Trent Morning Show (Nov. 2 — Dec. 12) — Start your morning in Branson this holiday season with the twang of banjos and fiddles as Buck offers a mixture of both the country sounds he is famed for and select songs highlighting the holidays, all laced with Buck's classic humor.
- Ozark Mountain Jubilee (Nov. 1 — Dec. 13) — Join the Bacon family as they entertain with the dance, music and comedy found in their regular routine and turn their talents towards seasonal classics as well!
- Sunday Gospel Jubilee (Nov. 1 — Dec. 13) — For 17 years, Sunday Gospel Jubilee has been entertaining while simultaneously keep the focus on faith, and this certainly doesn't change during the Christmas season, offering an entertaining outing that will help highlight the reason for the season.
- Grand Jubilee (Nov. 2 — Dec. 31) — The home of the popular quartet New South, Grand Jubilee will be offering a mixture of country, gospel and oldies during the first half of their winter show. The second half is dedicated to Christmas, offering the same fast, entertaining pace as the regular performance.
- Comedy Jamboree (Nov. 2 — Dec. 31) — Those attending Comedy Jamboree during the winter season can expect a variety show that highlights the best of the regular performance combined with additional skits and songs that cover the Christmas season through both light-hearted and uplifting segments.
- Number 1 Hits of the 60s (Nov. 2 — Dec. 12) — The "Rockin' 60s Christmas Party" features popular holiday songs as well as famous hits from the 60s. This show combines some of the best music of the 60s that is featured in the regular season show as well as festive holiday music.
- Warnocks Christmas Show (Nov. 2 — Dec. 11) — The Warnock Family has been featured at Andy Williams' Moon River Theater for many seasons in both the Christmas show and regular season show. This talented family sings and dances their way through popular Christmas favorites.
- Hamner Barber Variety Show (Nov. 1 — Dec. 13) — "The Wings of Christmas" takes over the Hamner Barber Variety Show beginning on November 1. This Christmas show features brand new illusisons as well as a tribute to Branson veterans. The first half of the show consists of illusions and acts from the regular season show, and the second half features songs from classic Christmas tales, including A Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. The finale is the highlight of the performance, as it features a flock of birds flying to the center stage.
- Legends in Concert (Nov. 1 — Dec. 31) — The Legends in Concert Christmas Show will take over the stage at Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theater. During this special holiday show, Patsy Cline, Buddy Holly, the Blues Brothers, Stevie Wonder, and Elvis Presley will perform a number of classic holiday hits.
- Trail of Lights and Christmas on the Trail Chuckwagon Dinner Show (Nov. 1 — Dec. 31) — Located at the Shepherd of the Hills historic homestead, these two Christmas activities can be combined. The Trail of Lights is a drive-through path of the homestead that is filled with Christmas lights and sparkling displays. The Christmas on the Trail Chuckwagon Dinner Show features a hearty meal of chili, chicken, cornbread, and cobbler accompanied by a Christmas carols sung around the campfire.
- Tony Roi's Elvis Experience (Nov. 2 — Dec. 30) — The Elvis Experience transforms for the holiday season. Tony Roi as Elvis brings back some of the King's most popular Christmas renditions, including "Blue Christmas." Roi's performance as Elvis brings guests back to their childhood Christmases that featured the smooth vocals of Elvis on many Christmas favorites.
- Red hot and Blue (Nov. 1 — Dec. 30) — The patriotic and upbeat singing and dancing of this show makes way for festive arrangements during the Christmas season. Visitors can expect the same talented performers and cast that have won awards like Best Morning Show and Best Vocal and Dance Group in an entertaining show with a holiday twist.
- The Haygoods (Nov. 1 — Dec. 30) — This show features the seven Haygood brothers and their sister Catherine as they sing and play a range of instruments, including the saxophone, drums, guitar, harp, and violin. The first half of the Christmas show features songs from The Haygoods' regular season, and the second half of the show is dedicated to the holiday season.
- Rock N Roll Is Here to Stay (Nov. 21 — Dec. 19) — For the holiday season, this show combines its regular season rock hits with rocking Christmas music. One of the highlights of the show is the performance of Don Solice as Elvis Presley. He brings to life many of Elvis' best known Christmas renditions, including "Blue Christmas."
- Hughes Brothers (Nov. 1 — Dec. 12) — This show, featuring the five brothers and five wives with 27 children, is 100% Christmas from beginning to end. This show is a heart-felt good time. Santa Clause makes an appearance to speak about the true meaning of Christmas. An excellent choice for families this holiday season.
- SIX (Nov. 2 — Dec. 12) — SIX will amaze audiences with this wonderful Christmas show. The group will harmonize their way through your favorite Christmas songs, and before they are done you'll be "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"! This show will delight audiences of all ages and you're sure to hear a song you know and love.
- Baldknobbers Jamboree Show (Nov. 2 — Dec. 12) — The Baldknobbers Jamboree Show will be performed in two halves, with the first half being highlights of the best moments of the show this past season. The second half will be a special Christmas performance. The show will entertain audiences of all ages, and is sure to be a wonderful Christmas experience for the whole family!
- Pierce Arrow Show (Nov. 8 — Dec. 19) — The group from The Pierce Arrow Show will begin their Christmas show with highlights from this past season. If you haven't seen their show, you will be amazed at the harmonies and talent of these singers, including the lowest bass singer in the world, Dan Britton. The Christmas portion of the show will begin after intermission, and it is worth the wait. With a large collection of gospel music already in the repertoire, the Christmas portion of this show is sure to impress!
- Tony Orlando and The Lennon Sisters Christmas Celebration (Nov. 2 — Dec. 5) — The show opens with Tony Orlando showcasing some of his most famous songs, including "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Around the Old Oak Tree." Joining him on stage will be the Lennon Sisters, performing beautiful harmonies and sharing memories from their 50-year careers. Following intermission, Tony Orlando and the Lennon Sisters will be performing some of your favorite Christmas songs.
- Spirit of Christmas (Oct. 31 — Dec. 12) — The Spirit of Christmas bring New York Broadway to Branson! This dazzling Christmas extravaganza wows audiences from beginning to end. You and your family will be amazed by the festive decorations, scenery, and costumes. You'll love the wonderful dancing and high stepping kick lines.
- The Osmond Brothers (Nov. 2 — Dec. 12) — The Osmond Brothers return to Branson for another sell-out season! This holiday season, the Brothers will begin their performance with a showcase of their hits. These songs are sure to entertain you and your family as much as they entertained audiences around the world. The second half of the show will warm your heart with holiday cheer.
- Country Tonite (Nov. 3 — Dec. 5) — Country Tonite is proud to welcome Debby Boone to this year's Christmas show! The show will begin with classic Country Tonite performances. You'll be singing along and tapping your toes to the music by the time intermission comes along. Following intermission, the cast will take the stage to perform many of the holiday classics. You'll be singing along again before they finish! The whole family will love this holiday performance, country style.
- Top 10 Rock and Roll Revue (Nov. 10 — Dec. 12) — For the Christmas season, the Top 10 Rock and Roll Revue transforms its show to bring you a rocking holiday production. Featuring the same talented cast, the Christmas show features your favorite holiday songs with a rock twist.

I appreciate the detailed 'report' on each Show. It sure saves a lot of time thumbing through loads of brochures, of coarse the respective brochure for a Show you are interested in, is a wonderful tool.

Andy Williams Christmas Show
We were there last year for this show and it was wonderful! Brought back so many memories of watching his TV special with my family when they were little. Had dinner at the Moon River restaurant afterwards. The outdoor decorations were awesome.

I have been to Branson 4 times. Always at the christmas shows. shoji is better than any Las Vegas show I have ever seen. He is great along with his stage decor and dancers.
