The Pierce Arrow Show
This group of performers brings you music from all quarters of country, including gospel music, covers of Statler Brothers and Oak Ridge Boys songs, and heartwarming patriotic tunes.
The Paul Harris show brings phenomenal singing and rip-roaring humor for your entertainment pleasure during your Branson vacation. Paul started out at the tender age of 15 as a fill-in comedian at the White River Hoedown in Mountain View, Arkansas. When he had developed a character he named "Chester P. Drawers," he realized one of his greatest highs came from making people laugh. He wasn't sure he could make a living out of doing something he loved so much, so he pulled back from pursuing comedy as a career and attended horse shoeing school at the age of 21. His father was a horse trainer and horse shoeing had always seemed like a worthy, challenging, and familiar path to take. Becoming a farrier was not in the cards for this young man, however.
In 1994, a telephone call from the Texas Goldminors tugged him away from fitting hooves to finding grooves in Branson. He began performing on stage with the Goldminors and as the weeks and months went by, he realized more and more that entertaining was where his deepest satisfaction lay. He absolutely loved making people laugh until their sides hurt. He had the gift of comedic timing and an instinct for knowing what would work and what wouldn't.
It wasn't long before he was recruited by Dan Britton for the Pierce Arrow Show and by then had been nominated twice as Branson's comedian of the year.
Now he has partnered with Clay Cooper, formerly with Country Tonite, and they have a great show for appreciative audiences. Comedy and good singing are uppermost on the agenda and these two do both better than most. Clay Cooper is from a musical family, with a grandmother who plays the piano and a father who plays the guitar. He began singing at the age of 14 and joined the Texas Goldminors in '86 when he moved to Branson. He was an asset to the Ozark Country Jubilee, the Down Home Country Show, the Buck Trent Show and the Jim Owens Show. He also composed and arranged harmonies for B.J. Thomas' Gospel Greats album and has performed with Ricky Van Shelton, the Gatlin Brothers, Ronnie Millsap, Mickey Gilley and others.
Clay Cooper and Paul Harris are top of the line performers with exceptional talent. Their show is one of the best in the Mecca of entertainment that is Branson. Paul is noted for his charming smile and Clay is no slouch in the charisma department. Together they make a winning combination that is hard to beat. The two hour show moves rapidly - it seems to be over before the audience is ready to go! The show is definitely appropriate for all ages and handicap access is easy to find. You'll love it.
