October, 2003 - Known as "Branson's Guitar Wizard", Leroy New will be starring in the Little Opry Theater's newest production, New's Country. The show runs on limited dates through December 14, 2003. The show highlights the multi-talented performer's mastery of several string instruments--fiddle, banjo, dobro, mandolin, and guitar--to the tunes of country, bluegrass and gospel music.
Leroy New has been playing on Branson stages for nine years. His first performances were at The Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Theatre. He quickly followed up by headlining his own show, Country Country, at the Gettysburg Theatre.
The Little Opry Theatre is located in Branson's IMAX Theatre Complex, where you'll find New's Country joins the list of spectacular performances like Goldwing Express, Keepin' It Country, and Smoke on the Mountain.
