Legends in Concert Cast
The minute the lights go down, you'll find some of the most talented celebrity impersonators of all time. Sing along with Garth Brooks to "Friends in Low Places", tap your toes to the Blues Brothers or cheer for Elvis Presley.
If you've ever wished you could have seen musical greats like Marilyn Monroe or Liberace in their prime, Branson's very own Legends in Concert is the next best thing. In fact, the impersonations portrayed by the show's stars come so close to the real thing that you might do a double take. The ensemble of talented performers has perfected every gesture and trait of the legends they represent and combined that with original vocal and instrumental talent.
The sizzling sounds of past and present superstars are backed by the Legend singers, dancers and orchestra. There are masterful mimics of legends like Buddy Holly, Elvis, and the Blues Brothers singing the hits that made them famous, as well as copies of more contemporary stars like Faith Hill and Garth Brooks. There is never a dull moment.
Legends in Concert is one of the only Branson shows that seems to be in constant evolution. The array of acts changes at least four times a year, so you'll never have to see the same performance twice. The lineup features the sounds of greats like Charlie Daniels, Celine Dion, Rod Stewart, George Strait and Diana Ross.
The Legends Family Theatre is located on Highway 76, the stretch of roadway known as the Branson Strip. It was formerly the Osmond Family Theater.
The two-hour shows run at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., with Christmas shows in November and December and a special New Year's Eve show. There is also a 15-minute intermission during the performance. Legends in Concert's ever-changing lineup offers something for everyone's tastes and the show is appropriate for all ages. Whether you like a little bit of country, some swing or a whole lot of rock-n-roll, you'll find at least a few of your favorite greats in this non-stop feat of singing and dancing.
