Ozark Mountain Jubilee is a favorite country show with gospel music and a few great laughs mixed in. The Jubilee features the Max Bacon family and his group, which includes Max and Jenine Bacon, their three sons Doug, Greg and Brad, Doug's wife Mindee, and their children Connor, Shelby and Garrett.
Max Bacon, who is blessed with a rich bass voice, leads the group. He has performed for many years with numerous groups in southern Missouri. The Ozark Mountain Jubilee features mainly gospel and country songs, with a bit of comedy thrown in. The troupe also includes Mike Patrick, a pianist and comedian, Randy Plummer on bass, Andy Holloway on drums, Mike Arledge on guitar, and Michael Hermsmeyer on steel guitar, mandolin, violin, and banjo.
The performance includes toe-tapping southern gospel tunes, hold-your-sides comedy, and songs made famous by such country artists as Jim Reeves, Porter Waggoner, George Jones, Patsy Kline and George Strait. It's a clean, wholesome family program, enjoyed by all ages
