The Pierce Arrow Show
This group of performers brings you music from all quarters of country, including gospel music, covers of Statler Brothers and Oak Ridge Boys songs, and heartwarming patriotic tunes.
If comedy and good singing are your thing, than The Paul Harris Show needs to be included in your next trip to Branson.
Paul Harris (formerly with the Pierce Arrow & Paul Harris Show) and Clay Cooper, formerly with Country Tonite, have teamed up and are bringing you a brand new show. It features Paul's side splitting humor coupled with the dynamic vocals of Clay Cooper. A 5-five piece band and newcomer Kari Garrison round out this terrific talent.
Paul Harris is no stranger to comedy. At the age of 15, Paul got his first job as a comedian at the White River Hoedown in Mountain View, Arkansas. It was while playing "Chester P. Drawers" that Paul first developed his love for making people laugh. He even had the opportunity to share the stage with then Governor Bill Clinton who was Grand Marshal of the Ozark Folk Festival.
As the son of a horse trainer (and not convinced that entertaining should be his lifelong career), Paul attended horse shoeing school when he was 21. In 1994, a call from the Texas Goldminors prompted him to look at entertaining once again. He moved to Branson to perform with the Texas Goldminors, and was later recruited by Dan Britton for the Pierce Arrow Show. Paul has been twice nominated as Branson's comedian of the year.
Clay Cooper was born to a musical family with a piano playing grandmother, and guitar playing father. He began singing at the age of 14 and performed until 1986 when he joined the Texas Goldminors and moved to Branson. He has performed in such Branson where he has performed in Ozark Country Jubilee, The Down Home Country Show, The Buck Trent Show, and the Jim Owens Show. He did harmonies for B.J. Thomas' Gospel Greats album, and has toured/performed with the likes of Ricky Van Shelton, The Gatlin Brothers, Ronnie Milsap, and Mickey Gilley.
With talent like this, you're sure to have a rip roaring good time !
