Rockaway Beach was a very happening place in southwest Missouri, but when the lake water turned cold, the visitors stopped coming. Today,
Rockaway Beach is in the midst of a revival. They've even put new sand on the beach and renovated old buildings in an attempt to draw people back. To celebrate the return of the visitors, they have this annual party. The days are filled with fun, food, games, and more. This lakefront beach allows visitors to experience the feeling of sand between their toes, without having to worry about jellyfish, large waves, or anything else. Attend the party, and help this little town to gain back their livelihood. Events take place between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., and it's a family event, so take the kids with you.
