Talking Rocks Cavern is a fantastic place to take your family with its mysterious rocks which make strange noises and the nature preserve above ground. Earthfest is the best time to visit as you can get a great guided tour, free of charge, and find out about the ecosystems, history and formations of the cavern. You will find out about cave safety as well as upkeep and preservation. You will find out about proper cave attire and have the opportunity to walk and crawl along the caves surfaces. The other attractions, available all the time include mini golf and gemstone mining which are bound to be a hit with the kids. The nature preserve is 400 acres and has a selection of lovely walks with many marked out trails. It is likely that as well as a great deal of flora you are likely to see some wildlife as well including bats flying around after dark and smaller animals around during the day.
