Sometimes you want to do something a little different than the standard beach vacations or those spent in the middle of a bustling city. There is nothing wrong with either option, but when you are looking for a unique approach and maybe an opportunity to get back to nature, nothing beats the Frisco Highline Trail in Willard, Missouri. The only trail that is more famous and longer than the Frisco is the
Katy Trail. You can make time for both if you like. Visiting and traveling along the Frisco Highline Trail is a great activity if you are on your one, with your significant other, or traveling as a family or large group. As you know, flexibility is important when you are far from home.
The Frisco Highline Trail is 36 miles long and is conveniently crushed gravel paved. Guests are allowed to walk, run, or bike the trail. Skate boards are only allowed on the few areas of asphalt finish.
If you were to travel the entire way of the Frisco Highline Trail, you would start your journey in Springfield, and end up in Bolivar, miles away. During your trip, the natural beauty of this region is sure to be better than any TV show or movie could hope to be. For families or couples, walking or biking the trail is a wonderful way to reconnect and communicate with your loved ones in the peaceful setting. Take along plenty of water, some snacks, and be sure to wear comfortable clothing and shoes to ensure your souvenirs of this trip aren't unpleasant blisters.
