There are nearly 9,000 different pieces of artwork that call the Springfield Art Museum home. These pieces represent a period over thousands of years of differetn cultures, from all around the world. You and your kids will walk through the quiet halls in awe at some of the pieces that are tucked into this non-conspicuous building. The Springfield Art Museum even features a special collection of 19th, 20th, and 21st century American paintings, watercolors, sculptures, prints, and more.

The museums is operated on a volunteer basis, and admission is run on a donation basis. Assign your own value to what you think your trip to museum was worth, and drop it in the box either upon entrance, or as you're leaving.
