Live in Branson and 'Part of Your World,' the Broadway version of Disney's The Little Mermaid is a fantastic piece of theater that will delight and awe the entire family; join Disney princess Ariel and her wonderful sidekicks, Sebastian and Flounder, 'Under the Sea' as Ariel begins her journey to find her certain place in the world.

Having collected humans' discarded items for years, Ariel (played by Sierra Boggess) finds her greatest human treasure in the form of Prince Eric, who she rescues after he is tossed overboard from his ship. When she drags him to shore, she realizes that her dream of living among humans is more tangible than she thought. Ariel realizes she will sacrifice anything to live on the land and be with him.

Her journey is set to a beautiful stage, with semi-translucent costumes and lighting effects that will have you believing you are actually in the ocean. In addition to a general admission ticket, you can opt-in to enjoy breakfast or dinner with Ariel, Eric, Flounder, and Sebastian; or you can have the VIP experience and meet the cast.

This professional show was produced by Country Club Entertainment and directed by Francesca Zambello. The book was written by Doug Wright, who adapted the story from the 1989 Disney film by Christian Andersen. The music was written by Alan Menken, with lyrics by Howard Ashman (who wrote lyrics for the original film), and features additional lyrics by Glenn Slater.

The show had a pre-Broadway tryout in Denver, Colorado in 2007 and sold out all of the seats for all six weeks it was featured. In November, Broadway previews began at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre and officially opened on January 10, 2008. The original show was closed on August 30, 2009, after 50 previews and 685 performances. Now currently on a national tour, this show is sure to wow with its professionalism and gorgeous scenery.
