About Dennis Tufano
Dennis inherited his musical talents from his father, who was a musician and also a singer. Tufano was born and raised in Chicago where a rock and roll scene was prominent. He started his own band in the early 1960s and gained two more members in 65 when they then, auditioned on a local television station which was when they got their new band name, 'The Buckinghams,' by a security guard who had suggested the group name. They ended up winning a 13-week contract on the show where they had lots of chart-topping hits and Dennis continued his amazing success through film, radio, television, and even commercials.
About Mitch Ryder
Born in 1945, Mitch Ryder sang back-up for the Peps, a black soul music group. He later started a band in his years of high school where they performed around the city of Detroit. He then moved on to a new band with limited success known as Billy Lee & The Rivieras which later was renamed to Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels, the band had multiple hits with songs hitting the charts as high as number four! Through the 70s Ryder saw less success in his music career and enjoyed writing and painting. He went on to return to music in 2012 when he released his first US release in almost 30 years.
