About Paul Anka
Born on July 30, 1941, Paul Anka was born in Ontario. His musical career started early, as he recorded, "I Confess", his first single, when he was only fourteen years old. He traveled to NYC in 1957 and auditioned at ABC. The song was "Diana", and it propelled him into stardom. From there, his next four songs hit the Top 20 charts. At only 17 years old, he was an icon and a teen heartthrob. He created the theme song for The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson as well as several other songs for great stars. His repertoire grew from there, and he made a name for himself with an extensive discography of hits.
