This talented group of musicians appeared in 87 films between 1935 and 1984 including Red River Valley, Home on the Range and The Yellow Rose of Texas. The Sons of the Pioneers eventually signed a deal with Columbia Pictures and their music was used in several films and TV shows. The popular "Tumbling Tumbleweeds" was featured in the Coen Brothers movie The Big Lebowski in 1998.

About the Performers
The original Sons of the Pioneers was created by Roy Rogers in 1934. Over the years, the members of the group have changed, but the theme remains the same. Currently, the group consists of Trail Boss Luther Nallie, who has been a member of the group for more than 40 years, tenor and exceptional fiddler Ken Lattimore, lead singer Randy Rudd who has been known to ensue laughter with his ad libs, Mark Abbott the experienced bassist and World Fiddle Champion Ricky Boen.
Joining them for the 2pm matinee shows is champion fiddle player, Justin Branum. Branum is known for winning the National Fiddle Contest in 2008, the Texas State Fiddle Contest, and the Tennessee State Fiddle Contest. He also won the National Championship Fiddle Contest in 2010 and the Tennessee State Mandolin Contest. This star is sure to shine with the Sons of Pioneers, so don't miss out!
