As a mother and daughter duo, Wynonna and her mother, Naomi, were signed to RCA Records in 1983. They went by the name of The Judds and created 23 hit singles together. Fourteen of those were Billboard Hot Country Singles No. 1 hits. They recorded eight studio albums, a Christmas album, and a Greatest Hits compilation. Together The Judds sold 20 million records worldwide and won over 60 country music awards. In 1991, Naomi retired. Wynonna began her solo career with MCA Records and with them she created 'She Is His Only Need', 'I Saw The Light', and 'No One Else on Earth'. She recorded seven studio albums, worked on numerous compilation records, and had 20 singles. She was nominated several times for Grammy awards.
