Branson Shows Knows 10/27

Every week, our Branson experts ask our thousands of Facebook fans for questions about Branson and our gurus select the top queries and hunt down the answers.

Here are this week's top questions:

Q: Is there anything fun going on in Branson this weekend?

A: We get this question all the time! In fact, it's probably the most-asked question that Branson Shows Knows gurus (and our dedicated phone agents) field, and it's no wonder! There is nearly always something going on in the Live Show Capitol of the World. If you're looking for something awesome ahead of your next weekend Branson trip, check out our Event Calendar for a complete list of all the shows, festivals, fairs, and activities in the area!

Q: Does Moses at Sight and Sound run on Sundays? What time?

A: The Sight and Sound Theaters in Branson do not offer shows on Sundays so that the performers may observe the Sabbath. The show does, however, offer shows Tuesday through Saturday at 3:30 or 7:30 p.m. depending on the day. Many days offer both time periods, so that everyone can have a chance to check out this awesome biblical performance. To check out the performance dates, click here.

Q: What are some good winter activities in Branson?

A: Branson is a great location, no matter what time of year it is. While almost all outdoor activities (like go karts and bumper cars) and a few shows shut down during the cooler months, there are still plenty of things to keep you coming to Branson! In addition to the plethora of Christmas shows which start in November, some popular winter activities include ice skating at Jordan Valley Ice Park in nearby Springfield, exploring the shops at Silver Dollar City, and checking out the many museums, such as the Titanic Museum, which are open all year long.

Branson Titanic - World's Largest Museum Attraction
Even better than we expected. We didn't allow enough time and had to arrange to go back to finish. Unlike the typical branson 2-hour show, suggest allowing 4-5 hours for this visit. They do an excellent job of personalizing the experience, getting you to think about what it must have been like — both the highs and lows — to be on that ship. And the staff are remarkably knowledgeable and pleasant.

Titanic - The Legend Continues - Branson, Missouri
I've been multiple times, & always find something new & interesting to see & learn! It's a great place to take children because of all the interactive things. You even get to take on the life of an actual passenger with your boarding pass. It's really cool to focus on learning one person out of the thousands aboard, & possibly seeing something they really owned! One of a kind experience, i love it!

Moses at Sight and Sound Theatres® Branson
One of the top 5 shows i've seen in my lifetime - even with the unexpected emergency in the latter half of the first act. Everything was handled professionally and the show was absolutely fantastic. The hicks family will return to this theater again.
