Branson Shows Knows 9/15

Every week, our Branson experts ask our thousands of Facebook fans for questions, and then we select the top queries and hunt down the answer. This week, we're talking about what everyone is always talking about—shows! We had a great variety of questions about this, and our agents even threw in a couple that they hear all the time.
Here are this week's top questions:
Q: What are the best Branson shows?
A: Wow, that's a hard one! Branson has more than 100 shows every year, not including holiday and limited-engagement shows. In those 100 shows, you'll find basically every kind of entertainment you could ask for; from comedy shows to original music, variety shows, cover bands, musicals, gospel, magic, dinner shows... you name it, we've got it! So, with all that variety it's not surprising that the list of "best" and "most popular" is constantly changing. There are a few, like Dixie Stampede and the Showboat Branson Belle, which are nearly always on the list, but the rest depend on the season. But don't worry! If you are looking for the top ranked Branson shows for your next visit, then you need look no further than our homepage! There, you'll always find the top six shows listed along with links for more information. And, of course, our friendly and knowledgeable customer service reps are always available to give recommendations!
Q: Are there any morning shows in Branson?
A: Of course! While most Branson shows are in the evening, there are shows for the early birds. A few of our most popular morning shows, which all start at around 10 a.m., include the Blackwood Morning Variety Show, which features storytelling, comedy, and music; Down Home Country, which also offers breakfast in addition to music and laughs; theBuck Trent Morning Show, featuring his greatest hits; Red, Hot... & Blue!, which is a musical overview of five decades of hits; the Brett Family, which has dancing and contemporary music; and the Doug Gabriel Show. Once you've clapped and laughed yourself silly at any of these fun shows, there will still be plenty of time to find a delicious restaurant to visit for lunch and then spend the rest of the day exploring, shopping, or just relaxing on the lake.
Q: Does Branson Shows offer any discounts?
A: We definitely do! Branson Shows wants everyone to have a chance to experience the fantastic shows in Branson, and we know how nice it is to save money! Currently, Branson Shows offers a 5% discount to senior citizens (anyone aged 55 and over), veterans, active military, and anyone with a AAA membership. The discount is applied during the checkout process and is available both online and when you order over the phone. Make sure you tell your customer service agent if you qualify for the discount on Branson shows, attractions, or hotels!
Q: What would you say is the most requested show in Branson?
A: While the "most popular" show in Branson changes by the season, it seems like no matter the time of year, people always ask our customer service reps about the productions at Sight & Sound Theatre. Featuring a large cast, fantastic sets, live animals, and a biblical theme, these musicals are always extremely popular in Branson. If you've never seen one and you have any interest in theater, the shows come highly recommended! Past shows have included Jonah, Joseph, Noah, and others. Click here to learn more about the theatre or to purchase tickets for this year's production.
Q: Are there any famous people performing in Branson this week?
A: Branson is a popular destination for famous musicians touring the country and has played host to performers like Jay Leno, LeAnn Rimes, Lee Greenwood, David Cassidy, Jimmy Fortune, Pam Tillis, Kenny Rogers, and more. These performances are often limited engagement shows and they sell out fast! If you're ever curious if there are any famous performers in Branson during your trip, check out our Event Calendar Page, which features not only performances but also other local festivals and events in the area.
No matter what kind of show you're interested in, Branson really has something for everyone! Have another question? Be sure to check back next week for more answers, and don't forget to Like our Facebook page to submit your own questions!
