Christmas in the Ozarks
An Ozark Mountain Christmas, is a different type of Christmas than most people are used to. Branson is transformed into a winter wonderland and a holiday oasis for you and your family.
The Branson area is famous for its holiday light displays. There's the ever-popular Branson Area Festival of Lights, which features over 200 displays. These displays used to be concentrated into just one area, now they're spread out all over the city for a surprise around almost every corner.
Shepherd of the Hills has their own Trail of Lights, where you can drive through to see their displays and end up at Inspiration Tower where you can take an elevator to the top, for a stunning view of Branson during the Holidays.
Silver Dollar City takes on a Christmas celebration all it's own, where there are special seasonal shows taking place in theaters around the park, carolers walking the grounds in their period costumes, a 17 foot talking Christmas tree that you and your kids can interact with, and a train that takes you through displays exclusive to the passengers. You could always just grab a bag of fresh roasted peanuts and a cup of hot cider, and just stand in awe of the twinkling 5 stories Christmas tree with synchronized music.
Whether it's a famous Branson music show you plan to attend for the holidays, or just a drive through a light display, it's sure to be an enjoyable and memorable time for you and your family.
