Dino's Christmas Extravaganza in Branson
Dino and Cheryl Kartsonakis bring their all-new, million-dollar show to Branson this holiday season. 'Somewhere in Christmastime -- Where All Your Dreams Come True' will be performed November 1 through December 11 at the Tri Lake Convention Center.
As Branson's premier family holiday tradition for the past 11 years, Dino has entertained Branson audiences with his exceptional showmanship and talent. His annual Christmas production is one of the most critically acclaimed shows in the entertainment city. It gives the audience both top-notch music, as well as a Broadway-level quality.
The show features dazzling lights, marvelous costumes, Broadway-style choreography, all new fabulous musical arrangements and spectacular piano performances by America's Piano Showman. It includes sets created by an experienced Broadway set designer, along with a dynamic light segment, a troop of 24 professional dancers, and features Dino at an Austrian Crystal covered piano.
The costumes for this year's show were designed by 3-time, Emmy-award winning costume designer, Pete Menefee, who's Emmy was received for the Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games opening ceremonies. Though Pete has been producing costumes for Dino's show for several years, 'his designs for this year's Christmas show are beyond belief', says Dino. 'He has found the spirit of the message that Cheryl and I are attempting to impart. We are so very proud to work with such a respected costume designer as Pete.' 'I know that Dino's million dollar Christmas Show will be the most opulent show that Branson has ever seen,' said Menefee. 'The fabrics ... the Swarovski crystals ... the feathers ... the intricate hand beading ... and all imported fabrics from Switzerland, France, Italy and England.'
Cheryl Kartsonakis' performance will feature an emerald green satin gown, specifically designed for the Ireland segment. 'I think it's the best Christmas show we've ever produced here in Branson,' Dino said. 'All the elements are coming together so well.'
While the show effectively combines a combination of talent and flash, it includes a personal touch at the end of each show when Dino presents the audience with something very near to his heart - the Gospel. 'Over 100,000 people attend my shows each season, and no one can say they haven't heard the Gospel.' 'Somewhere in Christmastime' is one of two DCK productions each year, the other being the 'Easter Spring Spectacular' presented in April. DCK Enterprises was formed by Dino and Cheryl to bring their vision of holiday splendor and faith to life.
