Halloween Events in the Ozarks

Whether you're looking for a relaxing afternoon in a pumpkin patch or something a little more hair-raising, you can find the Halloween experience you are looking for in the Ozarks!
The Dickerson Park Zoo promises to give your family a memorable experience this Halloween with its Halloween SPOOKTACULAR. The Dickerson Park Zoo is a family favorite attraction year-round with its gorgeous animal exhibits and hundreds of species of animals that call the area home. From October 21 to October 31 this year, the zoo will be transformed into a hauntingly special place with eerily lit lighted pathways and creepy creatures handing out candy at stations located throughout the zoo. Guests are encouraged to wear their own costumes for the SPOOKTACULAR. The Dickerson Park Zoo is located in Springfield, about 45 miles north of Branson.
Also in Springfield is the Jones Farm Pumpkins. At Jones Farms Pumpkins, you will find fun Halloween-style festivities on a family-run farm. You can stroll through the pumpkin patch and pick out the perfect pumpkin to take home. You can also have a blast with the corn maze, the full and pint-sized hay bale mazes, the horse-drawn hay rides, and the farm animals. The farm also features a picnic area, a gift shop, and a refreshment stand to complete your fun outdoor experience. The Jones Farm Pumpkins is open from September to November.
At McKenna's Pumpkin Patch, your family will find plenty of seasonal activities that will give you a wonderful experience to share together. McKenna's features tons of family activities in its fall celebration, including a large slide, pony swings, pumpkin painting, hay bale mazes, tractor-pulled hay rides, face painting, farm animals, a tricycle race track, bonfires, and much more. McKenna's Pumpkin Patch is located about four miles from downtown Branson on Highway F. The festivities run in September, October, and November.
For a more ghoulish experience, head over to the Haunted House and Monster Asylum at Ozark Cemetery. This house of terrors is easy to find with a prime location on the Branson Strip. All ages are permitted to enter at their own risk, but prepare to be frightened out of your shoes as your tour the haunted house. This house features state-of-the-art animatronics, creepy lighting, eerie music, and plenty of ghouls, ghosts, and creepy creatures that will frighten you clear until next Halloween! The Haunted House and Monster Asylum at Ozark Cemetery is a year-round attraction, open daily throughout the year at 9am.
