Muse Watson 'Can't Wait to Get Back'
The Starlite Theatre in Branson has confirmed that Muse Watson will be returning to Missouri this winter to reprise his role of "Sam" in the critically-acclaimed live stage production of "A Christmas Snow" which first debuted in Branson in 2011. Watson has performed this role numerous times around the country and even on the big screen, but the kind hearts of the Branson crowd win him over every year.
"[I] can't wait to get back to the beautiful countryside, the wonderful shows, Silver Dollar City and the warm people of Branson, Mo. If you missed the show last year, don't let that happen again," he said.
Although Watson started his career in theatre, audiences will recognize him from his many roles in movies like: "Sommersby," "Something to Talk About," "Assassins," "Rosewood," "From Dusk Til Dawn 2" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer." Watson has also appeared in numerous television shows including his most notorious role as Mike Franks in the award-winning drama "NCIS." But, despite his success on the silver screen, Watson still enjoys performing on the stage.
In the upcoming play "A Christmas Snow" Watson will be playing the part of Sam, a gentle old man who finds refuge with the main character, Kathleen (played by Catherine Mary Stewart) during a blizzard on Christmas. This family friendly show has strong Christian themes and is sure to delight and warm the hearts of audiences this Christmas season.
