Silver Dollar City is a reproduction of the "good old days" done in grand and authentic style.  There are more than forty shows daily, all live, and the ambience is similar to the nineteenth century Ozarks.  This place is one of Branson's top attractions.  Visitors may take in craft shows, shop to their heart's content, try a thrill ride like a roller coaster or enjoy a live performance such as "Headin' West".  Annually, there are many well known festivals held, such as the National Harvest Festival, World-Fest, Southern Gospel Picnic Days, and National Kids Fest.  They have endless family fun at Silver Dollar City. A few of the ride highlights include The Giant Swing, PowderKeg, Wildfire and The Flooded Mine.  Visitors will be immersed in the park's rustic environment as they enjoy the varied attractions.

Nestled amongst the quiet woods of Branson, the Best Western Branson Conference Center and Inn, located in proximity to Silver Dollar City, provides a restful place after a great day at the Silver Dollar City theme park.  It has many great amenities, including two indoor heated pools and some rooms with Jacuzzis.  This hotel also offers banquet and meeting facilities, game rooms, and complimentary shuttle service over to Silver Dollar City.  Complimentary parking is offered as well.

If you'd like to stay in the heart of the Branson theatre district, then The Melody Lane Inn is the perfect accommodation for you.  It's on Highway 76, in proximity to Landry's, The Baldknobbers Jamboree Show, the Grand Palace and many shops, theaters, restaurants and shows.  The inn has a heated outdoor pool and a Jacuzzi, and families love it because of the cable television, complimentary local calls and comfortable beds.  This hotel offers a complimentary breakfast at their coffee shop, and they also offer laundry facilities, meeting areas, a gift shop, and a ticket desk for convenience.

Silver Dollar City
Me and my family have been going to silver dollar city for about ten years now there is so much to do, from fire in the hole to competing with the whole family in the great american shootout. The coolest thing for me was watching them make different things.

Baldknobbers Jamboree Show
The baldknobber jamberee is the must see show in branson. I see it every time i go to branson. The second generation mabes are fantastic! The third generation mabes add a fabulous new dimension! Droopy drawers jr. And stub are the funniest comedians i have ever heard. The professional cast and musicians are the best in the ozarks. I have seen many shows in my 71 years, but none better than the baldknobber jamboree! This show is not only the first and best show in branson, it carries out the mabe family legacy perfectly.

Baldknobbers Jamboree Show
We have been coming to branson since the 80's. We have seen the baldknobbers show two or three times each year, my husband and i and our daughter, grandson and grand daughter. We all loved it. We recommend it to anyone we know coming to branson. The mabe tradition goes on. Great traditional country music and side splitting comedy. Same song second verse sing brother sang. See you this summer.
