Trail of Lights on the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead
For over fifteen years, residents and visitors in the Branson area have celebrated the Christmas spirit in a festive way with the famous Trail of Lights on the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead. The Shepherd of the Hills Homestead sits on 160 beautifully landscaped acres, and allows vehicle traffic only through the trails during the holiday season. The Trail of Lights boasts holiday displays for everyone to enjoy, making it the perfect way to spend an evening in Branson this holiday season.
Grab some hot cocoa and holiday sweet treats, and set off in your car with the Christmas tunes playing for this Branson holiday tradition. As you slowly make your way along the trail in the comfort of your own car, you can see a wide variety of gorgeous holiday light displays, ranging from religious to patriotic and even comedic. You will love seeing Santa and his elves getting ready to head out with the reindeer on a cold Christmas Eve night, and Santa resting on the beach after his holiday work is complete. With penguins and Eskimos in a cold, snowy white scene, the inside of a church of Christmas morning, elves making toys in the workshop, and more, the Trail of Lights offers everyone glimpses of their favorite holiday scenes. Be sure to hop out of your car at the end of the trail and ride up the glass elevator to the top of Inspiration Tower. From Inspiration Tower, you will enjoy spectacular panoramic sights from 230-feet in the air.
