Grinchmas Day at the Historic Owens Theatre in Branson, Mo is an event that allows visitors to see the movie 'The Grinch' starring Jim Carrey. The movie is free with a five dollar purchase at the concession stand. Visitors can have a meet and greet with the Grinch a half an hour before the start of the movie. Handicap seating is available. The Owens Theatre was built in 1935 and has a seating capacity of 200 people. Throughout its history the theatre has been used for much more than a theatre. It has doubled as a movie theatre, a live playhouse, a place of worship, an auction house, a meetinghouse and so much more.
