Nothing says autumn or the Ozarks quite like black walnuts.
At Stockton, however, black walnuts mean more than just fall. They mean the return of the beloved annual Black Walnut Festival. Celebrating more than 50 years, this fall festival has expanded into a four-day celebration of the fall and everything Ozarks.
During this festival, you'll have the chance to ride in a real airplane and see dozens of master craftsmen demonstrate old-fashioned arts and crafts. Many of the artisans will have booths set up where you can wander and find the perfect souvenir or Christmas gift for a family member! Be sure you don't miss the quilt show, where local quilters display their best work in a dazzling display of craftsmanship.
Kids will have fun watching their furry friends in the pet parade or trying their hands at the various games. There is also a daily carnival full of fun rides and traditional carnival food like funnel cakes, corn dogs, popcorn and candy. There will also be live music throughout the festival, with local bands performing original music and popular hits of today!
If you're looking for an all-around great fall festival, then you can't go wrong with one of Stockton's biggest events of the year! Come celebrate fall with fun, games, music and crafts at the Stockton Black Walnut Festival.
