Titanic Honors Veterans in Branson, MO
There is a remarkable Museum in Branson, Missouri, called the Titanic. The museum offers many scheduled events to honor our veterans. The museum extends a warm welcome to all veterans to visit at no admission charge, the only requirement is to show military ID forms. The museum has added a Veterans' Memorial to show recognition and appreciation to all the remarkable men and women who courageously served our country. The museum includes more than 2,000 outstanding displays, demonstrating respect for the American soldiers. Many of the historic wars through the years are acknowledged including World War I and World War II, along with the Korean Vietnam and the Persian Gulf War. There are also exhibits that focus around more current hostility in the country. As you walk through, you will find genuine relics that soldiers wore or possessed including uniforms and equipment. What is so compelling is several of these items were given to the museum by the actual soldier who wore and used them. Branson, Missouri abounds with historic events through the year. A few of the historic sites include legendary cemeteries, and the great civil war combat site. This area also has one of the world’s first skyscrapers. Harry Truman, our 33rd of the United States was raised in Independence and then later on in history commanded the joined troops to triumph in World War II.
