When in the Branson area, the Springfield Art Museum is a great place to visit, with its wide array of art collections from all over and theater productions occasionally held at the museum.
Originally started as an art study club, this museum was incorporated as the Springfield Art Museum in June of 1928 and has since continued to be a center for art appreciation, preservation, and education. Exhibits from all over the United States have been featured in this wonderful institution and have provided a great place to go for a relaxing and fun time. A great majority of what has been displayed here has been focused on American art from the 18th-century but has also had some other pieces from different collections. See what American art has produced and how hard Springfield has striven to preserve and display that art. Don't miss your opportunity to check out this wonderful family friendly attraction the next time you are in the Branson area!
