my husband grew up there in Branson,went to school his first seven years. We saw a show by the Baldknobbers back in 1970 when Mr. Allan and his wife were in the show. The musicians had rubboards and an backbone of an ass as their instruments. We loved it but haven't been back. We are planning a trip there next month on the weekend of the 19-21st. Just wondered if any of the group was still alive and playing? They were family friends with my husband's parents. (Clarence and Georgia Edwards). My husband, Jim went to school with their relatives and knew Mr Allan and family well.

the show was great, laughed so much my jaws hurt, although we went to the Baldknobbers restuarant next door to eat dinner off of there buffet, would not recomened this to anyone, the food was nasty, the servicers were dirty, and it was the worst food i have ever had, the show, great, the food, terrible

I have been to the show a number of times. I live in the area and thoroughly enjoy the show. Of all the times that I have seen it, it is always as crisp and on target as the time before. All the performers are first rate (and more). The singing is great, the music is fantastic and of course the comedy never grows old. Thanks for the great times that my family and I have enjoyed in the last 2 years that we have lived here. The show pays tribute to the veterans like no one else. They sing each of the 5 branches theme song. How cool is that? I am a veteran of both the Coast Guard and the Army and think what they do is beyond words. From beginning to end it is a show that takes the audience for a 2 hour ride that will not soon be forgotten. Thanks for the great job that you all work so hard at. Well Done!

Great show!!!! We remember the days that they went on the road and came to our schoolyear after year in their off season. They would tell us that they were the only show in Branson and encourage us to come up and see their beautiful area. Most of the old Baldnobbers are gone but the young generation is doing a great job of carrying on tradition. I know that Jim would still be proud of them. WE will come back!
