We really enjoyed the show and the theater. Mr. Tabuchi has such a pleasant way about him, very charming. We didn't get to turn in our comment card to them, but would appreciate you letting him know that christina's patsy klein song in the set that was called classic country was just terrific. He should have her do a whole set just of patsy's songs. The whole show was very entertaining and a good pace. Lots of things going on, but not overdone. Loved the ladie's room!
-- Allan And Cynthia Barton - St. Louis, MO
Just got back from branson and saw shoji's show for the third time. It is always wonderful. He is absolutely fantastic. Christina was there and she is truly a super singer and dancer. This show is always in great taste, wonderful talent, and beautifully done. The other performers are also sensational - learning to play the japanese drums and doing the drum line of a marching band. Shoji's life story is one of determination and success. This is absolutely the greatest. In fact, i can't wait to see it again.
-- Lucy Kay Robinson - Abilene, Texas
One of the most enjoyable shows i've ever seen! Shoji tabuchi is an amazing entertainer and his musicians and performers are first rate. Even though there was not a very sizeable audience, all of the performers gave it their all as if the place was packed with 2000 people. This is the perfect show for a family and for anyone who wants to have a fun, musical experience.

-- Sheryl - livermore ca
This was a pleasant unexpected surprise to me. I wasn't sure how shoji, who i had never heard of before, was going to hold an audience for several hours being he is a 'fiddle player'. More likely he is thought of as a 'stellar' musician which he clearly is. He did not hold the show on his own as his daughter who also produces the show had an active role throughout, sang a few songs, supported others and is, as her father, an 'able performer'. We thought the first half of the show 'drug' just a bit but the second half for whatever reasons, seemed to 'pick up' and was better. It was an enjoyable show and just like everywhere in branson the performers are simply great and must have a multiplicity of performing skills to compete among their peers for roles in these shows. That was brought out by a lady mandolin player who as souji said, can really play that thing.
-- Kurt Bundy - Crystal River, FL

I saw shoji 8 years ago and although his show was one of the better ones in branson, it did not have all the flamboyance as the previous one. I thought the show was very good and for anyone who has never seen him before it was outstanding.
-- Marlene Greenberg - Buffalo Grove, IL
My sister mentioned that we should see this show. She has never been to a show. We were surprised at the variety in the show. This was a show for all ages. The fiddle playing of shoji would be an inspiration for the younger people because of your carrier and talent and accomplishments.
-- David Gauthier - Euless, TX
This was a great show and well worth the price. I liked the fact that the choice of music covered everything from classic rock n roll to bluegrass to classic pieces. There is something there for everybody, and the humor was great. I highly recommend this show, and i am going back to see the christmas show.

Excellent music, beautiful and plentiful costume changes.
-- Linda Case - Shawnee, KS
-- Charles Kearney - Houston, TX
Shoji's music was excellent, the other performers had few really good acts. Singer ensemble could have used a little more background music support. Impressed with variety of music choices.

I saw shoji tabuchi perform in 1994. I saw him perform again june 16, 2011. I was worried that the show wouldn't be a fantastic as i had remembered it. Boy, was i wrong. Shoji and his show have gotten even better. His skill and showmanship are without equal. He is absolutely mesmerizing. The dancing, singing, costumes, and choreography are by far the very best in branson. If you can just go to one show, splurge on this one.

If i could hear shoji sing gospel songs at his church - wherever that is - i would be there on the front row every sunday! His show from grapevine texas is a joy to listen to, especially the original song he wrote. On his most recent dvd i thoroughly enjoy hearing him sing cajun, hawaiian and gospel among others. He has a unique voice and i look forward to hearing more of it. From what i have read of his life story i totally admire his determination and drive to follow his dream successfully.

This show should have been at the top of my favorites list and it would have been if shoji had not sung. This man is a fantastic violinist so why was he singing? He can't sing so he should've had a choir behind him while he played the violin.
-- Florence Hunt - Paw Paw, MI
Not enough of sholji playing the violin. The featured young male singer was not up to the quality of other shows. The wardrobe was wonderful especially shoji's coats. Good band and dancing as well as the drumming. His shows are always good.
-- Morgan Willeford - Longview, TX
Nice stage and extravagant costumes. Shoji's playing is wonderful. Audio could be improved on for such a large stage, but, we were sitting on the far left of stage.

A must see of talent, coordination, and pride. Las vegas of the heartland.
-- Charles Harvey - Hugo, Oklahoma
Very good show. However (in our opinion) not quite as good as his show we attended in october, 2007. Due to previous experience with this theater, we knew to get aisle seats and park the power wheelchair out of the way. This theater has much more versatility for handicapped seating than andy williams' theater.
