This was another excellent choice! It had been recommend to us by family members who had seen it years ago -- and their recommendations were valid, for sure! Shoji is certainly an accomplished musician -- covering all genres of music from rock n roll to country from classical to blues from hip-hop to contemporary and everything in between! And his talented troupe of dancers & singers (along with the back-up orchestra) were magnificent in their performances! We especially appreciated the patriotic finale to the program.

"This is a Vegas quality show.."

This is a vegas quality show, from the seamless production, to the costumes, to the lighting, to the variety, to the energy. Better than vegas in that it provides real family entertainment. And, as at a vegas show, when the dancers first appeared there was one girl who was obviously the star/producer's favorite...Not much dancing talent, but pretty and well endowed. In this case it was the star's daughter. In my opinion, she detracted from the dance routines. But still, the best show we saw in branson.

We were in branson for the roy rogers round-up and most of the activities we participated in were at their museum. We had one time slot to fill with something else and chose shoji tabuchi. It was most enjoyable, unbelievable talent and performance beyond expectation. Tabuchi-san is a very humble performer and very appreciative of his audience. There was so much to see and hear in only 2 hours.

We have waited 4 years and finally got to see his show. It was definitely worth the wait. The show was wonderful and we enjoyed every minute of it. I was really hoping to see his theater i’ve heard was so beautiful. But unfortunately, there’s been several mishaps and he’s been unable to preform there. Maybe one day it will be reopened.

I sincerely enjoy listening to shoji play the violin, he is truly an amazing talent. I have attended his performance several times over the years and was very shocked when i heard of his theatre burning, his previous shows were the very best branson had to offer. Shoji, roy clark, mickey gilley, boxcar willy and jim stafford as well as ray stevens made branson a country boys paradise. So i don't miss a rising star, joey riley played a big part as well, a huge talent gone too soon! I think i will visit branson a few more times before i receive my return to base orders to my fathers palace.

Alsosm show. Taguchi has to be one of the greatest violinists/ fiddler on earth. My wife stated that during the show that his violin was going to catch on fire. Tabuchi can make sounds from a fiddle that i didn't know could be made.

The real show in branson.Shoji is a great performer. The lighting, change of clothing, dancing and singing kept the show moving. Tickets are usually hard to get because he is a touring show. He is aging, but does not affect his playing. Grandfather, daughter, granddaughter in show. Also did a few christmas songs much to our delight.

This was a pleasant unexpected surprise to me. I wasn't sure how shoji, who i had never heard of before, was going to hold an audience for several hours being he is a 'fiddle player'. More likely he is thought of as a 'stellar' musician which he clearly is. He did not hold the show on his own as his daughter who also produces the show had an active role throughout, sang a few songs, supported others and is, as her father, an 'able performer'. We thought the first half of the show 'drug' just a bit but the second half for whatever reasons, seemed to 'pick up' and was better. It was an enjoyable show and just like everywhere in branson the performers are simply great and must have a multiplicity of performing skills to compete among their peers for roles in these shows. That was brought out by a lady mandolin player who as souji said, can really play that thing.

I saw shoji tabuchi perform in 1994. I saw him perform again june 16, 2011. I was worried that the show wouldn't be a fantastic as i had remembered it. Boy, was i wrong. Shoji and his show have gotten even better. His skill and showmanship are without equal. He is absolutely mesmerizing. The dancing, singing, costumes, and choreography are by far the very best in branson. If you can just go to one show, splurge on this one.

One of the best if not the best show in branson. Have seen shoji perform as far back as 1993 or 94. Never get tired of his show. We watched christina grow from a small girl to the beautiful woman that she now is. Loved to see karen rhodes years ago. If i could hear shoji sing gospel songs at his church - wherever that is - i would be there on the front row every sunday! His show from grapevine texas is a joy to listen to, especially the original song he wrote. On his most recent dvd i thoroughly enjoy hearing him sing cajun, hawaiian and gospel among others. He has a unique voice and i look forward to hearing more of it. From what i have read of his life story i totally admire his determination and drive to follow his dream successfully.

Very good show. However (in our opinion) not quite as good as his show we attended in october, 2007. Due to previous experience with this theater, we knew to get aisle seats and park the power wheelchair out of the way. This theater has much more versatility for handicapped seating than andy williams' theater.
