My wife thought this would be a yawner, but she was impressed. I've always loved live music, and some of the stories told about john denver by the stars of the show were neat to hear. Each band member was introduced and showed off their talent. There is no bad seat in this theater for this show. Excellent show, i loved it.

Great show. Lots of talent and great singing. James is a professional but a down to earth friendly guy who invites you to even put your feet up on the stage. In the little opry theatre you are that close to the stage, just small enough to feel like your are part of the show enjoying the music, jokes. James encourages you to singalong so get your voices ready.

Tip: The guys with beards had their voices muffled because their mics were behind their beards. I couldn't hear them very well.

" this was 'good' show."

For a 10 am show this turned out to be smallest audience attendance we witnessed in our week but don't let that scare you off from going. The performers actually took advantage of this and personalized their show very directly to audience members present. We could speak to them from our seats and they to us. Obviously, skilled performers playing the songs we 'country' people have known and loved by most performers, we have known and loved. George jones, waylon jennings, patsy cline, randy travis to name a few. They also asked for 'requests' from the audience and charlie pride also got an unprepared time slot which clearly reminded us all of charlie pride. This was the only show we actually bought some cd's although they are offered everywhere and we all thought this was 'good' show.

I saw a ton of shows and a variety of them for my first trip to branson. The petersens was my absolute favorite show! I did not want the show to end. It made the entire trip for me and that's not an exaggeration! They are extremely talented, funny, warm, personable, and did i mention talented? Their voices are ethereal. I downloaded all of their music on itunes as soon as the show was over and have been listening ever since. Before the show, i wasn't planning on returning to branson because i'm from new york and a long journey, but i have to go back now- perhaps many times. I would highly recommend this intimate, impressive, and entertaining performance. I became a patreon a few days later because i want to support this endearing and exceptional family. I have seen tons of performances living in new york- opera, ballet, theatre, concerts, etc. And this is a top 5 for me. I am going to post this on various websites because it was that good! I went to this show with family- this was a special trip for my mother that my sister and i planned for her after my father passed away last year. This was so worth it! I hope to bring back my husband and children (teens)!

The petersen family bluegrass band is great. Each member of the family is very sociable and appreciative of attenders. Further after the show they are immediately available outside the theatre in order to visit with them and they are very sincere. The show itself is very entertaining with a lot of good clean humor. My wife and i both made purchases from their merchandise. We'd love to hear them again. We both love bluegrass music and we also appreciate the gospel numbers very much. Show was good. I liked some of the history he provided. However, i wasn't aware that it would be in such a small venue. It was actually kind of nice to be close to the performer, but there was very little energy from the small crowd. I also would have liked to hear a little more singing of glenn's songs. There was probably a little too much talking, story telling and introduction of the band, etc.

It was the sanders family christmas show and the show obviously is funny but it is tremendous when you have audience participation. On this night a lady in the audience gave the cast plenty of fodder and this was a freaking riot of laughs.

This was a show i came to branson to see. John denver was really something very big in my past and to hear these song and stories from a close friend, almost sounding like john.... Well it made the trip!

Tip: I wish we could of heard :poems, prayers and promises my favorite song.
