Trail of Lights at Shepherd of the Hills Homestead
Each year during the holiday season in Branson, locals and visitors alike flock to the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead after sundown for an amazing holiday light spectacular. The Trail of Lights is a two and a half mile stretch that winds through the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead. Guests are invited to take a leisurely drive through the Trail of Lights in the comfort of their own cars, and many are known to listen to Christmas carols and sip on hot cocoa or warm cider as they make their way through the light displays.
The Trail of Lights at Shepherd of the Hills Homestead may seem like any other holiday lights display, but as soon as you drive through the gates of the Homestead, you will know you've found something truly unique. Throughout the two and a half mile stretch of displays, you will find three-dimensional mechanical displays that bring you right into your favorite holiday songs and classic holiday tales. Some of the displays incorporate themed music and story narration to provide you with a true sensory experience.
At the end of the Trail of Lights, you will arrive at Inspiration Tower. You are invited to hop out of your car and climb the stairs or take the elevator to the top-floor observation deck of the tower. From the observation deck, you can enjoy a unique view of the Trail of Lights from 230 feet above the ground, as well as the twinkle of holiday lights from across the city.
Give your family the experience of a Branson holiday tradition this season by spending an evening at the Trail of Lights!
