About the Americana Theatre
The Americana Theatre features award winning live musical shows and performances in Branson Missouri! Originally built in 1973 by Rosie and Darrell Plummer, the Plummer Family Theater was the 3rd live country music theater on Branson's famous Highway 76 strip. The theater was later renamed the Moe Bandy - Americana Theatre where Moe Bandy played nightly for many years. After a recent tornado struck the theater, renovations included a new lobby with gift shop and concessions area, theater seating with more leg room, updated lights & sound, and new curtains.

"Thanks for the Memories."
I want to thank the entire staff here at the elvis - story of a king. We were greeted with open arms. We got our assigned seats then before walking down we got a picture taken. They took us to our seats and enjoyed all the videos explaining the story of elvis and the presentation by the person who portrayed him and even sounded and looked like him. My wife is more of the fan and loved it. I enjoyed when he asked those who were serving or has served in the military to raise their hands. We or i did try to catch one of the teddy bears he through but no luck but no problem. After the show we even stopped and took a picture with elvis. Thanks for the memories.

The music was definitely elvis. However the performer left a little to be desired. My wife, who is an avid elvis fan stated, and i agreed, that he was trying too hard to be an elvis impersonator. As to the backup singers, they looked like they were approaching 40, trying to be 20. Again, a little over acting.
