Terry Fator Live in Branson
You might remember Terry Fator and his puppets from Season 2 of America's Got Talent. After winning the show, he performed in Las Vegas, and now is Branson for a limited time engagement.
A real jack of all trades, Fator mixes ventriloquism with music and comedy. His performances include many different characters, including his famous Walter T. Airedale, a country-singing puppet. Other characters include Winston the Impersonating Turtle, Julius, and Vikki the Cougar. All of these characters, at the will of Fator, have you cracking up with laughter. Complete with impersonations of celebrities, singing, and comedy, this show is a hilarious addition to any Branson vacation.
Prior to America's Got Talent, Fator had almost completely given up on ventriloquism. He performed at fairs to no avail. When he auditioned for America's Got Talent in 2007, he didn't think he would actually win the entire show. He just wanted enough publicity to get a break. Instead, he ended up winning the contest and a performance at the Jubilee Theatre at Bally's.
On October 14 and 15, 2007, Terry debuted his show at the Las Vegas Hilton. Both shows sold out and another show was added for December 3. He then signed a $1.5 million dollar contract with the Las Vegas Hilton to do three shows a month from January 2008 to May 2008. Terry also appeared along with Simon Cowell on The Oprah Winfrey Show. In May of 2008, he signed a five-year, $100 million contract to perform nightly at The Mirage on the Las Vegas Strip. Don't miss this Las Vegas performer at his special engagement Branson performance in the heart of the Ozarks! With his hilarious puppets and stand-up, Terry is always a big hit!
