Great music, great acting - more importantly, fabulous message so thankful there is a venue like this that can give the gospel to thousands of folks each month, hopefully being the mechanism whereby many accept christ as their savior

It was an amazing show. We enjoyed our trip to branson. David is a must see when you are visiting branson. Who dun it was really good too. Silver dollar city was an xtra plus. We love branson.

I have seen many productions and this was the best i have ever seen i would highly recommend david show to all. A life changing experience.

The show was excellent, very well produced and performed. Biblically correct and brought the bible passages to life. We had very good seats and enjoyed the performance immensely.

It was fabulous worth the trip

Let me start by saying im not a person who normally goes to plays, this is maybe my 5th play ive seen in my lifetime. With that being said, this was my first time seeing a play at the sight sound theater. I can definitely say that this will not be our last. My only regret is that we missed the previous plays in this series although we did see a special recording of noah that was shown in one of our local movie theaters. Note: seeing noah in the movie theater was nice, but it was no comparison to seeing a live show. The way the actors and the sets all work together to interact with the audience is nothing short of spectacular. It is something the whole family will be enthralled with from children to seniors such as myself. I could not over-hype this play if i tried. For anyone on the fence as to whether you should see this or not, you should definitely do what ever it takes to see this play. I promise you, you will not regret it.

Awesome show with a powerful message

Wow it was awesome, we were in awe with the whole show on how great it was. We added it last minute as one of my friends said we had to see it as they couldnt describe how awesome it was and had to see for ourselves. They were right, you have to see to believe.

Wow, what a spectacular show this show was the highlight of our vacation. The set and cast were amazing. Biblically accurate and entertaining. I would gladly go again if i lived closer.

David was absolutely the highlight of our trip. We would return to branson just to see another show like this.

Awesome the acting and sets were great

The presentation was terrific and meaningful for us. The use of live animals was terrific. And we appreciated that even delicate aspects of the story david and bathsheba were handled with sensitivity.

David was amazing my husband and i could not have been happier to have purchased tickets to this outstanding performance. We will come again.

One person in our group of four had seen esther and felt it would be worth the drive from frisco tx to see david. She was 100 correct as david was spectacular and now we are planning another girls trip to see jonah next year. We left the play asking how did they get the sheep to follow directions so well, how did they do the giant and so many other good questions about an overwhelmingly great performance.

We thoroughly enjoyed the show amazing scenes, incredible actors and singing so professional there was even a glitch regarding a special screen malfunction, and it was all handled professionally and gave us assurance that everything was okay, and the show would resume momentarily. This is our third time, and it wont be our last

Having worked in the arts and entertainment industry for more than 40 years and having performed in venues all over the globe i can unequivocally state that the sight and sound theater i went to is absolutely the best theater i have ever been in. Really enjoyed the show. As a theater person the production quality was great. Special effects were well done our seats near the top made it difficult to tell which actor was talking at times the length of the show was a bit excessive

The best awesome

I have seen theatrical performances in new york city and london. The four performances we have seen have through sight and sound theatre could rival all of them exquisite costumes, performers, scenery, surroundings and the theatre itself even the animals used in the production are amazing. Of course, being biblical stories retold, the stories are impeccable. The musical arrangements and performances are perfect and moving. Being surrounded on three sides by beautiful scenery and props enhance the immersion into the play. You truly feel part of the story. This is my favorite thing in our ten day vacation. Do not miss this play

Great show and perfect seating

We have seen each show that has been at sight and sound theatre since day one. They were the highlights of each trip to branson.We took the backstage tour early on and have vivid memories of how you all make it happen.

Enjoyed david very much. Amazed at the animals and how they knew where to go without being guided. Last year when we saw ester we sat in balcony and could see the sides better.

Every aspect was top notch. Costumes, scenery, voices, harmony, acting and the adherance to the message and lessons of the bible. The use of the entire theater, including the aisles in the audience seating area, for movement of cast and live animals during the performance made you feel as if you were a part of each scene. Audio-video effects were excellent and the giants were quite convincing. Well worth the eight hour trip.

Amazing special affects we felt the power of the story.

The show was outstanding and i feel this production could rival any weve seen on broadway the sets were fantastic and the venue itself was top notch. I loved the live animals and the use of bringing the animals in down the aisles...So creative.

My husband and i have seen everyone at the shows at sight sound theater and this one is at the top and the second one is the jesus performance. They get better and better and better every year not that theyre bad at all but i am amazed and what they can do and how enjoyable the shows are. Want to see this the christmas show which will be in december of 2026.

Exceptional show. Very impressive theater.

This production was nothing short of amazing. I loved the three different stages, side stages included. The cast, live animals, special effects, detailed scenery, costumes, music, and story will be something i will never forget.

Fantastic the music was so beautiful the actors, especially those playing david his mother, were stellar. And the giants oh, my, the special effects techs really outdid themselves this time.

This show was on the top of our list of shows to attend. We experienced sight and sound the last time we were in branson. Excellent. We would highly recommend this theater to everyone. Top notch.

Wonderful would attend other productions.

This was truly a moving event. I dont think there was a bad seat in the theater. We lived all the stage changes and real animals. The david performer did really well with both the spoken and singing parts. A person could understand both.

We were seated far left to stage on 2nd row last to seats. Was able to see almost everything but wish we were in different seating. The play was marvelous.

The seats were so very close together. We were comfortableenuf but many peoplestruggled to be comfortable. Somany of us were too cold. Many people complained no matter where they were seating. We were also cold. The talent was unbelievable and so very good. We r thankful your staff shares their talents. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was a privilege for us to witness your show. The show was amazing. The performers were talented. The ushers were helpful, sweet and funny. It was a wonderful experience, and one i plan to do again.

Excellent my 19 year old was in tears as we all were but it was especially rewarding to see her moved so deeply. A now 10 year old was not with this time had seen jesus 4 years ago. She wants to see david after her sister shared her experiences.

This was my first show at sight and sound and i loved every minute of it. The whole performance was incredible and i will definitely be watching to see what is next. I really appreciated the availability of staff to pray with and for everyone, thank you so much

Aisle entry of the cast and animals was a real nice presentation. That much snow that fast was awesome. Putting the crowns around the throne chair was very cool and goliathe sound effects was five star.

Very good show a must to see

It was amazing. Although we got a little too much of the smoke sitting as close as we were. But other than that it was wonderful.

The production of david was absolutely astounding and i have recommended it to everyone i know. I paid for preferential seating and was 7 rows from the stage and 4 seats off the center aisle-worth every penny. Side note: impressed with how the parking was handled.

Our trip was for my mom. It was on her bucket list. Shes 75 and wanted all of her girls together to go somewhere and enjoy things. We picked branson and couldnt have chosen better. We loved the look on my moms face when clay cooper gave her a hug. And we couldve watched the david show at least three more times. Dolly parton stampede was great and where we stayed was wonderful. My mother loved the porch watch the river and the ducks. We will have memories to last forever.

Seeing david in branson was an amazing experience not only is the production top tier, but also the venue is gorgeous. Even with a full auditorium, getting in and out and buying concessions was smooth. Nothing was a hassle wonderful evening all the way around

Great play of david.

Pricey, but pretty good. Started a little after 7:30 got out of there after 10. The animals running down the aisles was cool. Not broadway caliber but well done. Good experience buying from bransonshows.Com also.

The musical david was absolutely amazing. I watched it with my 6-year-old child, he really liked that show. And even though its been two weeks, were still listening to the soundtrack and talking about the show. Ive been highly recommending it to everyone around me.

Wow i was concerned about seating, but was very pleased when we got there. Everyone and everything was remarkable.

What a delightful combination of story, actors, singers, animals, and engineering i was very impressed with the professionalism of all components, but especially enjoyed the engineered mechanics of sets and goliath.And then there were the sheep who were so well trained they could go down the aisles and up into their pasture on the stage without a shepard to guide them. I was very impressed with all of it.

Wonderful acting, singing and backdrops. Unfortunately much license was taken with the story of david-especially with his relationship with michal.

Best play ever ive been to many plays in new york and birmingham alabama. This was over the top

We loved everything about the experience, check in was easy, show was outstanding, went above and beyond our expectations. The only negative is not enough bathrooms, everyone is trying to get there at the same time, because you dont want to miss any of the performance. So long lines.

Long, animals making one appearance then disappearingseemed like certain senes were just there to say there were so many animals in the show.

Fantastic show true to the original

This show went beyond my expectations and i thought it was even better than my experience at the new york theater amazing talent, the lighting which looked 3d, the singing/dancing, well behaved animals, the fighting scenes, and wow the giant scenes, ect, ect i will definitely come back to watch more shows

Felt like we were back in the time of david. Unbelievable how they can make the entire building shake when the giant falls. And the mountains move as they walk. We are 77, and hard of hearing, but the sound was perfect. We could hear every word. We are certainly not giants but could see everything. Mommas barely 46 and could see all 3 stages just fine. Suggest paying the extra to sit in premiere seating.

I think we have seen all the sound sound shows. David was not a disappointment. It was wonderful. Thanks for continuing these great productions.

Super sets and giant effects

It was lovely production. The only draw back is i am 5 feet tall and i stared from the front row at a wall of bricks and we had no idea we had front row seats. I only could see from about the mid theigh up on people in the program so until the sheep came off the stage i did not know they were even up there. Amazing lights, props, and actors. I just wish i had been able to see more.

The is our number one show every year. David was just unbelievable. A sight sound treasure.

Told a wonderful story and kid friendly.

Sight sound never disappoints. The live animals, the amazing sets, the beautiful costumes, and the final effect of the entire audience being washed white as snow in connection to what was taking place on stage was so beautiful the company we brought with was nearly speechless. When they finally found their words, they expressed that they had never had such a moving experience at the theater.

Seat was too far back and off to right side. Still was very good.

Superb, worth the 8 hour drive

This was the first show of its kind that we have been to. I was very impressed with the show and the flow of the production. The sets were amazing. We have spread the word about david. Awesome

If youre going to branson, you cannot pass up this show. This was the finest entertainment we enjoyed during our week-long six-show visit. Id consider this on a par with some circus solie shows in las vegas. Years ago, we attended a show here so it was an easy choice this year and david, was beyond our expectations. Any seat would be good with three stages that surround the audience, but the middle section is best.

The show was amazing the ushers kept the crowd moving, as did those managing the traffic in out of the theater area.All in all, it was an experience to remember repeat.

My sister and i were so impressed with this fantastic show it was amazing that there could be sheep running down the aisles, horses and a camel on stage, and birds flying over head with perfect timingwith no missteps. I was also pleased that the play kept accurately to scripture. The voice of every performer was exceptional and unlike with other professional singers that i have heard, i could understand every word that they sang. Also beyond the program, we were impressed with the efficient way we were helped during the intermission to get through the bathroom in the 20 minutes given.

Every show seems to be better than the last. We enjoyed it very much. God is a big part of our life. Praise jesus

The performances, staging, lighting, and sound in david are nothing short of amazing. Just know there are a lot of liberties taken in the story itself. It starts by portraying davids father, jesse, as a taskmaster never approving of his youngest son. This theme runs throughout the production, with david saying after his coronation something to the effect of if he were here, hed tell me its time to get to work. Next, david is portrayed as becoming increasingly weary from his many battles and especially from dealing with the needs and petitions of the people see moses in exodus 18. And its this weariness that leads to his affair with bathsheba and murdering her husband, uriah. Then the story ends with davids repentance. I would still encourage anyone to go, but go for a great performance rather than a sunday school lesson.
