About the Ozark Mountain Daredevils
This incredible performing group has been around since the 70s. Having formed in 1972 in Springfield, MO, they have since made a name for themselves with their signature bluegrass and rock 'n roll sounds. They got their start in the music scene by playing all around Missouri, including in the Ozarks as well as Kansas City and St. Louis. They released their first record in 1974. From it, they spawned several hits with their rock, country, bluegrass, and pop blends. 'If You Wanna Get to Heaven' was their first hit, and it reached a Top 30 spot. Throughout their career, they released many more albums and singles and are known for songs such as:
