50 Years of Kenny Rogers
Description

Do not miss out on the opportunity to celebrate the life and works of the famous Kenny Rogers; join performers Brother South, Heather Gentry, and the Band of Gamblers for a trip through the decades. The show features famous hits of Rogers', including songs like "She Believes in Me", "Lady", "Islands in the Stream", and "The Gambler".

This tribute show is a great way to pay homage to the great Kenny Rogers. Not only are the musicians that depict his art talented, but they bring energy and fun that the entire family can enjoy.

The Performers

Bringing the fantastic music of Kenny Rogers to the Ozarks, Brother South features brothers Shane and Dave. The two have performed in Branson for seven years, creating a name for themselves in Branson's entertainment circle. These two bring the essence of Kenny to the stage with them, treating guests to a performance like no other.

Joining them is Heather Gentry. Gentry is known for her role on the reality TV show, Branson Famous. She has performed, in the past, as Patsy Cline, and this unique talent combines effortlessly with Brother South's performance. Along with the Band of Gamblers, these amazing artists bring the music of Kenny Rogers to Branson visitors.

Career
Born in 1938 in Houston, Texas, Rogers’ career began when he recorded with groupThe Scholars. When the lead singer of the group went solo, The Scholars disbanded and Rogers moved on to a solo career. Since then, he has released over thirty studio albums, eighty singles and thirty Number One hits. He has also accumulated a number of awards and made a name for himself also as a songwriter, photographer, record producer, actor, entrepreneur and author.

Since his career started as a solo artist, Rogers has topped the charts with hits like “Lucille,” “Daytime Friends,” “Love or Something Like It,” and "The Gambler". He has also collaborated with artists such as Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, and more.

With a large collection of awards and honors to his name, Rogers has become one of the most recognized names in country music.
