About the Sons

Getting their start in 2005, they began performing at Silver Dollar City under the name The Sons of the Silver Dollar. Soon after beginning their humble concerts of 35 people, they were soon crowding Silver Dollar City with crowds of up to 200 people wanting to hear their harmonies while enjoying a day at the theme park. They became such a celebrated hit at the park that they were invited to perform their three-part harmonies in every festival since that first year. During the off-season, they perform at theaters and around the community. The band is comprised of:

Tom Johnson:

Performing his role as Baritone and Bass, Tom has had a passion for singing, music, and theater since 1993. With an impressive repertoire of castings including playing Bob Cratchit and Ebenezer Scrooge in Silver Dollar City's A Christmas Carol play, he has honed his skills and masterful voice for decades.

Rich Watson

: As the Lead, it is no surprise that Rich has an impressive voice. After serving our country and working with the MO Dept of Corrections, he has made it his life's goal to perform professionally. For ten years, he has done just that, having performed in Branson shows like 'Positively Country, Defintely Gospel', 'The Jerry Presley Show', and 'Smoke on the Mountain'. He has even sung backup for Kenny Loggins. He is also a multi-talented instrumentalist and is sure to impress.

Barry Arwood

: Rounding out the group is Barry who delights with his Tenor voice. Barry studied music at Missouri Southern University and has had a lifelong passion for music. He has also performed in community theater and has appeared in Branson's 'Smoke on the Mountain' show.

Hit after hit is sure to entertain with these three masterful singers bringing their harmonies and melodies to life before your eyes. Tap along with some iconic songs that will give you the opportunity to experience Branson's classic and beloved essence. A thoroughly entertaining show. No breaks just music. The morning we were there had only 6 people in the audience but you would never have known it as they gave a wonderful performance.
